blank ministry of mothers sharing
M.O.M.S. gathers mothers together to form a network of mutual, spiritual support. It is for mothers with wisdom to share, who are searching for answers and meaning in their vocation of motherhood. It is for mothers who find motherhood fulfilling, challenging, rewarding and at times frustrating. Single mothers, married mothers, new mothers, and experienced mothers will all find a safe place to share the common bond of motherhood.

Meetings provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, and we strive to increase communication skills and the use of prayer rituals in the home. Each session begins and ends with a prayer ritual designed to enhance the Christian perspective on topics such as self-esteem, stress, everyday spirituality, personal goal setting, values in friendship, spiritual gifts and celebration.

Who will benefit from M.O.M.S.? Women who...
Currently devote, or have devoted, time to the spiritual and physical upbringing of children.
Live with many stressful demands on their time and energy.
Need a place to receive personal and spiritual nurturing and support among their peers.

The objective of M.O.M.S. is to:
Gather mothers to form a network of mutual support in a chaotic society.
Provide a group experience of learning, praying and ministering to each other.
Introduce opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
Increase communication skills and use of prayer rituals in daily family life.
Provide opportunities for ministry.
Increase awareness of community resources.

After completing the M.O.M.S. program, mothers are encouraged to attend M.O.M.S. events throughout the year. We host special events, reconciliation Masses, socials, family Masses and meaningful retreats.

Explore your own spirituality and share with other mothers the stresses, concerns and positive experiences that influence your own spiritual growth. Experience the support of other women as you discover the depth of your own spirituality.
