The purpose of the Ladies Guild is to foster friendship and spiritual welfare among the women of the parish. We are also a service organization interested in the development of St. Wenceslaus parish.
We’d like to ask all ladies of our parish who are not already members to join the Ladies Guild. It’s a wonderful way to give back to our parish and to set a good example for your kids about church involvement.
As a Group, we have many responsibilities, including putting on the finest funeral dinners in the Archdiocese. We also help the poor of our community by providing meals to the Stephens Center and adopting less fortunate families at Christmas time. Members of the Ladies Guild feed the priests, provide our church fellowship with Donut Sundays once a month, clean the church on Palm Sunday, and in the spring, sponsor a breakfast for all graduating high school seniors of our parish. Every October, we organize and carry-out our only money maker of the year — the annual St. Wenceslaus Fall Bowtique. The proceeds from the Bowtique enable us to give thousands of dollars to various charities and to fund various other projects we have throughout the year.
The Ladies Guild is also great for you — spiritually you feel better about yourself and at the same time you’re making others feel better by helping them in numerous ways made possible by our involvement in the church and in the community.Join with us and help us help others in our parish and community.
