St. Wenceslaus is a community of caring individuals, committed to the teachings of Christ as they relate to serving physical and spiritual needs. Our Human Needs ministries offer parishioners the opportunity to serve others, especially the least of our brothers and sisters, and to raise awareness on issues of social justice, peace, and human rights. Our mission is to translate our inner faith into acts of charity. Ministries include: St. Vincent de Paul Conference—Provide financial assistance to the needy in the form of food, rent, utilities, etc. The conference also provides services to the elderly and handicapped through the Caring for Others Program. Caring For Others—Provide transportation, odd jobs, companionship and other assistance to handicapped, elderly and homebound. Food Pantry—Collect food on Pantry Sunday, held the first Sunday of each month. Food Drives are also held at different times through the year.Prayer Chain—Pray for those people and intentions that are requested, both long and short term. Helping Hands—Help fellow parishioners after the death or during the illness of a family member by providing a meal, a ride, or house sitting during a funeral. Habitat for Humanity—Help build homes for a family in need. For additional Human Needs ministries:
